Introducing Paint with Green
Paint with Green Foundation is an educational non-profit with an ambitious mission: to nurture a generation that not only understands the challenges our planet faces, but also feels capable of contributing to positive change. We are dedicated to helping children understand, appreciate, and protect the environment.
We translate complex sustainability topics into engaging, age‑appropriate learning experiences that inspire curiosity and empower young people to take action. Our activities combines expertise in environmental science, education, and creative facilitation. We believe that when children feel connected to nature and understand their impact, they grow into adults who make thoughtful, sustainable choices.

Our Target Group
Our primary audience is children aged 6–12 and their parents or caregivers. Through our international projects we reach out to the youth sector as well. We collaborate with schools, educational institutions, and companies seeking high‑quality sustainability education for young learners.
Our Methods
We bring sustainability to life through non-formal, interactive, creative, and evidence‑based educational formats:

Meet our founder
Paint with Green Foundation was created by Gabriella Vidak, the creative mind behind its educational approach. Her passion for the environment and her talent for connecting with children shape the foundation’s programs and partnerships.
- Academic background in IT, accounting, and pedagogy
- 20 years of experience in the corporate sector
- School leader and teacher at Kincskereső Oskola Hungarian Weekendschool (in NL)
- Ongoing research into environmental issues and sustainability
Where Our Journey Began
“I have been enthusiast for environmental protection since my young age. What started as a simple awareness of nature’s beauty gradually grew into deep concern as I witnessed, year after year, the destructive mechanisms of our modern economy — not only for our planet, but also for human values and ethics.
After I became a mother of two children, I have had the opportunity to participate in running a local Hungarian weekend school. Through my involvement, I gained valuable experience in teaching and organizing activities for children — and discovered the joy of seeing young minds explore, learn, and grow. I could always easily bond with children, and educating them became an absolute passion of mine.
And one day a wonderful idea sparked: I should combine my enthusiasm for the environment with my passion for educating children! An initiative was born: teaching children about environmental protection and sustainability through playful, creative, and non-formal learning methods and activities. That marked the beginning of a long journey: lots of hours spent on research, development of study material and creative design work. Besides all of this I also started to study pedagogy.
Since then, Paint with Green has grown from a simple idea into a mission: to inspire the next generation to care for our planet with knowledge, responsibility, and kindness.”
